What will you do? (How your day would look)·You will execute the following tasks: (1) Project management of software analysis and implementation projects for my clients commodity management software; (2) Manage project teams that are globally located ; (3) develop project plans; (4) continuous project risk assessment and the implementation of risk mitigation and contingency strategies; (5) track and report on all dimensions of a project to all stakeholders; (6) build and maintain strong client relationships; (7) identify additional opportunities through existing engagements; (8) contribute to on-going process improvements within the Professional Services organization; (9) collaborate with teams across the organization on initiatives outside of your direct areas of responsibilityWhat you’ll need to know: (What we’d like you to know)
·A good understanding of business processes in commodity supply chain including production, processing, supply, marketing, trading, distribution. This could be as pertains to one or more of oil and refined products, petrochemicals, gas, power, agriculture markets
Education and expertise
oDegree in Finance, Engineering, Economics, or a commodities-related specialization
o5 – 10 years project management experience managing software analysis and implementation projects to the full project lifecycle
oDemonstrable ability to efficiently manage several projects in parallel
oStrong data-driven analytical, negotiation and problem-solving skills
oComfortable working with senior management and decision makers
oStrong client engagement skills with the ability to establish clients’ trust and confidence at all levels of an organization
oExcellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills in a global operating environment
oExperience with key project management tools: MS Projects, Office, JIRA, SharePoint, PPM tools
oDirect commodity industry experience
o1-3 years of experience in implementing Commodity Trading & Risk Management Software systems
oPrevious experience working with ERP software, such as SAP or JDE
·Project management in the financial technology industry is required for this position - minimum 5 years of working knowledge
