My client is building the next generation of banking products for some of the biggest banks, smallest startups and everything in between.
They are built from the industry-wide recognition that core banking is ready for massive disruption. Banks and financial services firms all over the world are built on out-dated, monolithic systems that are complicated, prone to failures and costly to maintain. Fintechs looking to challenge the status quo often face prohibitive costs of adopting these same old systems, or the daunting task of building something new from scratch.
They will revolutionise the playing field by offering a modular, cloud-based platform that allows large and small players launch new financial services and products in a matter of minutes rather than months.
You'd be working on an orchestration tier for their biggest client, taking data outputs from cloud based core banking platform and then surfacing them into the correct format for the client team to integrate to and vice versa.
You have been building services and applications at a senior level on the JVM - likely as a Java developer, and exploring Kotlin more recently.

You’re familiar with the Spring framework.
You’re familiar with TDD, you know what a good unit test looks like, and you can write tests across the test pyramid
You’ve used GraphQL to implement well-designed APIs, and you also know what a good RESTful API looks like
