Based at their Central London offices, the SharePoint Developer / BA will have responsibilities for developing solutions with the SharePoint framework in SharePoint Online. This will include needs analysis, design, build, project management and go-live in addition to support for a large Microsoft SharePoint environment (circa 1800 users).
The Share Point Developer / BA primary focus will be to increase the adoption of SharePoint across the Group by both transforming manual process in to Share Point Solutions and by raising the awareness of Microsoft Technologies in general. (Share Point, Power Apps, Teams and Workflows)
This position will be in constant contact with staff in their associate Companies, to communicate the development progress and to resolve issues and provide estimates in timely fashion.
Collaborate with business users and Group IT to create a scoop and plan sprints for development.
Undertake development, QA and provide UAT to the end users before deployment
Provide ongoing support and maintenance for the Share Point in general
Provide regular training and updates to the system users in form of presentations, one on one demo and by creating interactive training on the LMS system.
Gather all requirements form the end users and build roadmap for Share Point adoption.
Use Jira as a project / development management tool.
Using Share Point and other Web technologies construct a document management system to move date from local servers in to the Cloud.
Work closely with DBA team on creating a reporting portal with Power BI and SSRS integration.
Build interfaces within Share Point to other internal or external systems as and when needed.
SSRS, Power BI, Azure, API’s. etc
Review and transform current manual processes and automate BAU processes where ever possible as directed by Group IT in collaboration with local BU.
Skills and Abilities
Experience of using Bootstrap (or responsive design equivalent)
Office 365 / SharePoint Online / Azure Development Experience
Experience of working with the SharePoint App, Power Apps and Workflows.
Competent project management skills
Experience of SharePoint Server Side and Client Side Object Model
Experience in SharePoint Designer Workflows
Experience in using Visual Studio and Git
Experience of working with the AGILE methodology
Excellent presentation and communication skills (to both technical and non-technical audiences, written and verbal)
Proven track record to work to strict commercial deadlines
Self-management and strong organization skills
Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills with all levels of users and management.
Strong commitment to customer service is critical to success in this role.
Detail Oriented, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with reading and using data analysis output
Proficient in Microsoft Office products (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Jira and Project).
Education and Experience
Degree level preferred
